In December 2020 I wrote an article about the division of the population over politics, but more importantly, over the state of our health. In that article, I said, “I’m not a psychic, but I’m going to predict that it’s just a matter of time before this vaccine becomes mandatory for ALL people to be able to go to work, travel, shop, and live in the world.”
My husband and I had a play date to visit some friends that we haven’t seen since their baby girl, Iris*, was born. On the morning of our date, I went to the local discount store/pharmacy to pick up a “new baby” card for the parents. The store did NOT have a “face mask required” sign taped to the door, so I entered without one.
As much as I try to ignore the mainstream media, I find myself scouring the internet for news far too often. Like you, after almost nine months of being inundated with news about coronavirus, I’m trying to make sense of what’s going on with COVID-19 in America.
Our nation is facing a critical, unprecedented test. Why? Because the pharmaceutical industry has been using false arguments to make the case for over-vaccination and some in our government are now trying to pass bills “under the cover of darkness” that mandate that we all—children and adults alike—comply.
These are trying times. Although the cases of COVID-19 seem to be on the decline, many are afraid, still, to leave their houses. Healthy people are terrified of other healthy people. Neighbors are still flinching away from each other in fear. Strangers are yelling at each other in the post office for getting too close, wearing masks, or not wearing masks.
